Sometimes, when I’m elbow deep in the trenches of motherhood, I look around and all I see is the mess. And I want so badly to see some work that is finished. I want a gold star or a pat on the back for a job well done.
I look at my kids’ chore chart and think how satisfied my six-year-old is when he gets to put a star by the completed task. Yeah, he gets that from me.
But what about those unseen moments when we toss out the list, jump on the bed, and make memories?
I am so blessed to be sharing over at Faith Spilling Over today. Will you come join us?
